Nimorinka & Inspiration

Hello, Saturday!

Today, we'll have a different kind of talk, because it's not about what I have or "do" in my wardrobe. It's about what I like and what inspires me. Please don't get me wrong here, it's not alcohol that inspires me, although sometimes it may work ;). It's about people who do great things, who love their country and it's traditions!

"Monicol" LTD, together with the brands Nimorinka and Fruit2Go represented Moldova at the annual Indagra Food&Drink 2012 Exhibition in Bucharest.

Nimorinka is an alcoholic drink, which is produced by means of fermentation and double distillation of fruits. This type of drink is known for ages in several countries under different names: Pálinka in Hungary, Schnaps in Germany, Rakia in Balkan countries, tuica in Romania, etc.
Nimorinka is recommended as aperitif and perfect digestiveConsuming it, you will be pleasantly surprised by the lack of hangover effect, which is due to the technology and product quality. For more information see

An interesting fact is that the King Edward VIIIth claimed that Pálinka mixed with soda was better than whiskey, and mixed with tea was more tasty than rum.

The walnuts together with the wine, fruits and vegetables represent strategic products for Moldova. Prunes, walnuts kernels and dried fruits are Monicol's main products.
